Terms of Service
Effective March 24, 2026. These Terms are designed to govern access to and use of DropScore and to clarify key limitations, responsibilities, and protections.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the DropScore website, reports, scans, software, and related services. If you use DropScore under a separate signed agreement, that agreement controls over these Terms to the extent of any conflict.
2. Business use only
DropScore is intended for business and professional use. You represent that you have authority to act on behalf of yourself or the organization using the service and that your use of the service complies with applicable law.
3. Service description and no professional advice
DropScore provides website analysis, scoring, estimates, recommendations, and related diagnostic output. Reports, scores, projections, and recommendations are informational tools only. They are not legal advice, financial advice, accounting advice, security certification, performance guarantees, or commitments regarding future business results.
4. Your responsibilities and permissions
You are responsible for the URLs, data, content, credentials, and other materials you submit to DropScore. You represent that you have all rights and permissions necessary for us to access, analyze, process, store, and transmit that material in connection with the service. You must not submit material that infringes rights, violates confidentiality obligations, or breaks the law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use DropScore to interfere with the service, circumvent technical restrictions, reverse engineer protected components except where prohibited by law, access systems you are not authorized to test, transmit malware, overload infrastructure, or use the service in connection with unlawful, abusive, or deceptive conduct.
6. Accounts, communications, and security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any access credentials and for all activity occurring through your use of the service. You agree that DropScore may send service-related notices, transactional emails, security updates, billing notices, and operational communications necessary to provide the service.
7. Fees, billing, subscriptions, and cancellations
Paid plans, subscriptions, scan limits, and billing terms are described at checkout or in the applicable order flow. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You authorize DropScore and its payment processors to charge all applicable fees, taxes, and renewals using your selected payment method. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise in writing, fees are non-refundable.
8. Intellectual property
DropScore and its licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in the service, software, models, design, branding, and related intellectual property. Except for the limited rights needed to operate the service, you retain your rights in the material you submit. You grant DropScore a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, analyze, transmit, and display submitted material as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, improve, and support the service.
9. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or improvement requests, DropScore may use them without restriction, obligation, or compensation to you.
10. Third-party services
DropScore may rely on third-party providers for hosting, payments, email delivery, AI processing, databases, and related infrastructure. DropScore is not responsible for third-party services, websites, or content except as required by law.
11. Suspension and termination
DropScore may suspend, limit, or terminate access to the service at any time if necessary to address misuse, legal risk, non-payment, security concerns, suspected fraud, or operational risk. You may stop using the service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and payment obligations.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. DropScore disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uptime, and uninterrupted availability. DropScore does not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any specific business objective.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DropScore and its affiliates, service providers, licensors, and personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or related to the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of DropScore for all claims arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to DropScore for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
14. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DropScore and its affiliates, service providers, and personnel from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or related to your use of the service, your submitted material, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
DropScore may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless a later effective date is stated. Your continued use of the service after an update becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Contact and notices
For contractual, privacy, or legal notices, use the contact method described on the Contact page or reply to a direct DropScore communication you have received so the request can be routed appropriately.
